The Journey of a Message
Every paper airplane travels through caring hands before it reaches a young person who needs a reminder that their community cares.
Student Writes Note
High school volunteers write uplifting, encouraging messages and fold them into paper airplanes.
Chapter Collects & Verifies
School chapter leads gather submissions, check them against safety guidelines, and log volunteer hours.
Delivered to Detention Center
Verified planes are carefully packaged and sent to partner facilities like Sprucedale & Roy McMurtry Youth Centres.
Youth Receives Hope
Incarcerated youth open the messages, receiving tangible hope and knowing their community cares.
Our School Chapters
Empowering Students to Spread Hope & Earn Volunteer Hours
Aurora High School Chapter
At Aurora High School, our student chapter empowers youth to give back while earning high school volunteer hours. Students fold paper airplanes with encouraging messages, earning 1 volunteer hour for every 5 thoughtful planes created.
🎗️ Fall Fest & World Mental Health Day
Volunteers crafted dozens of uplifting paper airplanes filled with mental health support messages. Placed in a central community bowl, students across the school could pick up a message of hope and encouragement.
💛 Valentine's Day Note Spread
Spreading kindness throughout the entire school, our team wrote hundreds of positive sticky notes and placed one on every single student desk before classes started.
Seasonal Care Packages
Every season, we handcraft packages filled with paper airplanes, motivational cards, and small tokens of warmth — delivered to incarcerated youth across our partner schools.
🌸 Spring
New Beginnings
Each spring we send packages bursting with colour and hope — tissue paper, handwritten welcomes, and paper airplanes to remind youth that new chapters are always possible.
☀️ Summer
Grow & Shine
Summer packages overflow with rainbow paper airplanes and silk flowers, celebrating the energy and brightness every young person carries inside them.
🍂 Fall
Change & Gratitude
Our fall packages hold 120+ hand-folded paper airplanes alongside a message of seasonal reflection — a reminder that even in change, growth is possible.
Every card is handwritten and illustrated by our volunteers — no two packages are the same.
